Laura – Administrator
With over 15 years of dental experience, Laura is competent in various settings including general, pediatric and institutional practices. Now an administrator, her knowledge as a Certified Dental Assistant, as well as her involvement in the hospitals, have proven invaluable in creating mutually rewarding patient relationships.
At home, Laura is a devoted mom and is proud of her Black Belt protégé son, Dylan. Together they enjoy cycling, concerts and anything Harry Potter.
Meghan – Administrator
Meghan comes to our team with experiences working as an office manager and administrator for many years. She is kind, patient, organized and very personable and we are fortunate to have her with our team. She is also a very proud mom to four lovely children and enjoys new challenges and activities with them!
Kaori – Certified Dental Assistant
Kaori is a 2014 graduate of the Vancouver Community College Certified Dental Assisting program. Prior to dentistry, she worked in tourism in Vancouver for 10 years. She believes in creating a positive dental experience for all ages. She strives to provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for our great patients.
Outside of the office, she enjoys biking, rock climbing and traveling.
Nicha – Certified Dental Assistant
“Nee-ka” is a 2020 graduate of the Camosun College Certified Dental Assisting program. Nicha is originally from the Philippines and moved here to Canada with her mom and brother in 2013. She says the ability to make a difference in people’s lives and seeing their smiles every day brings happiness to her as she has always wanted to help people with their oral health and as a dental assistant career allows her to do that.
Nicha spends her time baking, going for walks with friends, watching sunsets, spending time with her family, and binge-watching her favorite tv shows outside of work.
Flora – Dental Assistant
Flora comes to us with over 25 years of experience in dentistry working as an assistant, primarily in the Greater Toronto area. Flora is a kind and compassionate soul with a confident, yet gentle approach to her patients. She truly wants to provide her patients with the most comfortable and relaxing care possible.
Preety – Registered Dental Hygienist
Preety is a 2018 graduate from Camosun College Dental Hygiene Program. Prior to dental hygiene, Preety’s work experience and knowledge has provided her with building trusting relationships and great communication skills. She strives off working together with patients to make oral care interventions and to meet optimal oral health. Preety is excited to be in the dental field to expand her knowledge and work in a people oriented atmosphere.
Outside of work, Preety enjoys spending time with family and friends. Some of her hobbies include traveling, hot yoga, baking and cooking. She loves interacting with people and helping patients feel at ease during dental hygiene care.
Courtney – Registered Dental Hygienist
Courtney was born in Halifax and her and her family moved here to Victoria in 1996. When Courtney was a teenager her mom suggested that she should be a dental hygienist. Although she didn’t listen to her mom right away, she eventually ended up at Camosun College to become just that. Yay Mom! Courtney likes to highlight the importance of hygiene and to be aware of preventative oral health.
In her spare time, you can find Courtney on the soccer field (she used to play competitively), camping, playing with Blue, her beagle or spending quality time with her fiancee.
Elly – Floating Assistant
Elly comes to our clinic with a wide range of customer service industry-based experience. It has enabled her to be adaptable, flexible, and prepared for all types of patients we welcome. Although she didn’t have any prior dental work experience she has been able to use many of her skills and knowledge to be an asset to our team.
In her spare time, Elly enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Some of her passions are cooking, cycling, hiking, dining out, traveling and the newest one, car racing.
